Dr. Matthew Nadaud

Matthew C. Nadaud, MD

Dr. Nadaud joined KOC in 2001, specializing in total joint replacement, partial knee replacement, and joint-preserving procedures. He earned his medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine, completed his residency at SUMMA Health System, and a fellowship in adult reconstructive surgery in North Carolina. Board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, he is known for his patient-focused, independent approach to selecting the best treatments.

He has performed over 18,000 joint surgeries and contributed extensively to orthopaedic research, education, and surgical innovation. Dr. Nadaud is active in several professional organizations, has helped develop pain management and recovery protocols, and served on hospital and community boards. Outside of medicine, he enjoys fitness, reading, and outdoor activities with his wife and three adult children.

Sarah Roach, PA

Sarah Roach, PA

Sarah Roach finds orthopaedics — especially serving patients with joint reconstruction — to be a rewarding specialty due to the positive impact on patients’ lives. She loves seeing patients return to their favorite sport, exercise or activities after enduring debilitating pain.

Sarah earned a bachelor’s degree in health science and a Master of Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MHSPA) from South College and is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She was inducted into Pi Alpha Honor Society for Physician Assistants in 2015.

Her hobbies include weight training and barre, and she enjoys spending time traveling and exploring the outdoors with her husband and three children.

Mary Kate Riden, PA

Mary Kate Riden, PA

Mary Kate has been in practice since 2017 and with KOC since 2023. She received her BS in Biology at ETSU and her PA degree from LMU. Mary Kate is NCCPA Board-Certified and is also a member of PAOS and AAPA.

“Thave always loved serving others and helping them become their best version of themselves through health and fitness,” she says. “Orthopedics is the perfect field for me that allows me to ise my love for MSK and wellness and help people improve their pain and function. I like being able to help patients improve their quality of life and get back to activities they enjoy.”

Mary Kate is married with two children. In her free time, she serves as Missions Director for Christ Powered Ministries for orphanages in India, Pakistan, and locally. She enjoys spending time with her family, strength training, cycling, hiking, reading, and cheering on the Vols!

Sarah Teffeteller, LPN has been with KOC since 2009, and has been in nursing for over 20 years after receiving her degree from Blount Memorial’s LPN program. She is married with a daughter and enjoys spending time with her family on their farm, cooking, and reading.

Chastity Stringer, RN:OA

Chastity Stringer, RN

Chastity, originally from London, KY, has called Tennessee home for over 20 years. She earned her nursing degree from Lincoln Memorial University and brings more than 25 years of experience in the medical field.

With 15 years of specialized experience in orthopedics, Chastity is dedicated to providing exceptional care to her patients. She finds the operating room to be the ideal place to support her community and make a lasting impact.

Outside of her professional life, Chastity enjoys spending quality time with her family, traveling, and even making homemade goat milk soap. Above all, she treasures time spent with her husband and their beloved dogs, Hoss and Pepper, while cheering on the Cats at home.
