Through interdisciplinary cooperation, Dr. Nadaud helped develop multimodal pain management and rapid recovery protocols.

Where does Dr. Nadaud operate?

The majority of Dr. Nadaud’s procedures are performed at Knoxville Orthopaedic Surgery Center, which is an orthopaedic-only surgery center, rating among the Top 10 nationally for outpatient total joint replacement surgery. KOSC produces the most outpatient total joints in the state of Tennessee and among the highest nationally. It maintains an exceptionally low complication and infection rate compared to national averages and utilizes a specialized staff experienced in orthopaedic care. As a result, KOSC has received multiple awards and recognition, including being named a Center of Excellence.

Other cases are performed at area hospitals who utilize multidisciplinary protocols based on the best evidence and outcomes. Dr. Nadaud works closely with these hospital partners to ensure that they apply the same peri-operative care coordination as KOSC as well as consistent anesthesia protocols (including the ERAS-Enhanced Recovery After Surgery protocol) and multi-modal pain management.
